Next weekend will be the start of my senior season of fishing and I couldn't be more excited. This season will be my final year of high school so I'm really looking forward to what this year will hold. The season starts on Murray and will hopefully end at the BASS National Championship, if things go the way every angler wishes they would. With that being said, this season poses some new challenges for me but definitely don't count me out. This year I will most likely be fishing the whole season from the back of the boat with my partner from last year, David. The reason behind this is because the motor on my boat has seen it's final days and unfortunately ran its final run before breaking and the cost to fix it out weighs the value so with that being said, I am boat-less for now. I do plan to get a new boat (hopefully sooner than later) but I wanna make sure I am financially stable enough and buy something that will last and doesn't have the age my boat has. This is gonna be a challenge for me that will hopefully grow me as an angler. Over the summer I was able to get on the water and do some fun fishing and get ready for this season. I also upgraded some of my gear with Shimano reels so I am looking forward to putting them to the test this season. Overall, I am just ready to get on the water and start fishing again. I am looking forward to several of our tournaments so this year should be fun. Good luck to all anglers this new season! I will definitely try and keep everyone updated through social media so if you don't already, follow all of my social media accounts listed below!
