New Year, Same Dreams!

    If you follow me on social media you might seen my latest post with the caption "New Year, Same Dreams!". For me, new years is just another day for me. Many people consider New Years Day a day where they change (or attempt to) their ways to make themselves better. For me, I consider every second a new opportunity to make a change. The caption "New Year, Same Dreams!" simply means that although it may be a new year, I'm still chasing after that dream of fishing professionally someday. At the end of each year I do like to make new goals. I try to set goals weekly, monthly, and yearly that will help me to get where I wanna be. Before talking about this years goals, lets talk about 2018s goals. For the most part, I met all of my goals for 2018. Some of my goals that I met include, finishing top 10 in a tournament (met this one twice!), finish top 5 in AOY points for my high school team, and be more involved in fishing events. All of these goals were met! For 2019 I sat down and wrote up some more goals I want to meet for this year. A few of those goals are, finish top 5 in AOY again, get another top 10, get a new boat, and film and upload more to YouTube. 

    I am really looking forward to 2019! I ended off the 2018 season with two top tens and sitting pretty good in Team of the Year points. Our break in the tournament trail has also given me the opportunity to work a lot and save up for a new boat. A lot of great things are to come in 2019 including my college decision (stay tune!). I am really looking forward to this year and I know it's gonna be an awesome year!

    So blessed to chase the dream of fishing for a living someday! Look forward to 2019!
